This site hosts a few resources for people navigating the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency application process, namely:

  1. Program map — a map of every accredited OMFS program, filterable by degree track, with annual openings and interview details (from 2026)
  2. SDN match analysis — an exploratory analysis of seven years (2020-2026) of self-reported match results scraped from Student Doctor Network forums (dataset here)
  3. Interview conversion predictor — a simple tool that you can use to predict your interview conversion rate from your CBSE score, class rank, and other stats (please read the disclaimers!)

Who am I?

I’m just an ordinary OMFS-applicant spouse that has heard way too much about OMFS programs in the last few years 🙂 I am a scientist by trade, so I love a good data analysis. Please let me know what other kinds of analyses you’d like to see! Please remember that I am limited to what I can scrape off SDN. However, I am in the process of building a more representative dataset that you can contribute to!
